Interview with the team of the WEGAME festival – the first festival in Ukraine dedicated to video games, cosplay and new technologies, which took place in April this year in Kyiv. The guys talked about preparations for the WEGAME festival, the development of computer games and plans for the future.
— Katerina, as a curator, tell us about your team, who does what and who is responsible for what?
– Okay, let’s start. Ira Lysenko, co-curator of the project, is a person who knows a lot about cosplay, understands a lot about it, my right, left hand, sometimes part of my head and a very wonderful person.
Vlad Tikhonov, our wonderful PR manager, is a person for whom nothing is impossible, for him there is no phrase “I couldn’t” – he can do everything!
Sasha Levkina, Roma Gomenyuk and Marina Posherstnik are in charge of sales. (our sales department)
These are the people who are the https://megaspielhalle-casino.co.uk/mobile-app/ first to communicate with almost everyone who wants to participate in our project. People who know their business well, their project and, apparently, love it very much, since everything turns out very well for them. Each of them has its own zest, its own sense of humor and its own character. But they fit into the team clearly.
Yura Stankevich – our SEO specialist. He is the one who deals with the most difficult work, the part in which I understand little, but the result of which I see him: helps our site and you find each other.
Sergey Sklyar – our designer. In an argument with this person, the truth is born) You go to him and see a picture, but when communicating you realize that not everything is as cool as you saw. And after arguments, drawings, then more arguments, there is finally a golden mean that suits everyone.
— You have a great team. I suggest getting to know each one separately. Let’s start with the co-curator.
— Irina, can we say that the first WEGAME turned out the way you planned it?? What happened differently and what was surprising?
— WEGAME itself is already amazing! After all, in our country there were attempts to organize festivals of such a scale, but it didn’t go further than once. We don’t stop there and want to make the festival an annual event.
— Vlad, you are a PR man, please share behind the scenes. Surely there were many difficult moments during the preparation of the first festival. Which of these was the most difficult for you??
— Share emotions with everyone who came to the event. After all, each of us put our souls into it, and we wanted nothing to go unnoticed.
— The WEGAME program is quite diverse. Guys, as a sales department, please share which part do you like??
— To be honest, we don’t like it when they try to divide WEGAME into parts. The main idea that distinguishes it from other Ukrainian events in this area is to unite all areas of the gaming industry in one space and under one roof. WEGAME is one big organism, and we love it entirely, without division))
— Yuri, soon you are going to hold the second WEGAME. As an SEO specialist, please share what you can expect from this festival? What makes it special?
— Even more guests. Even more games and cosplay!
— Sergey, you work as a designer, how is WEGAME connected to your real life?? Is it just a job or a hobby too?
— Katerina, to summarize, what can you say about WEGAME?
— For me this is life) Both real and virtual lives take place here. During the preparation process, you live the project, ideas appear at the most unexpected moment, the team becomes a family. I’m lucky: my hobbies have become a job that brings me pleasure and a hobby that doesn’t get boring.
